What is the state of slowpitch softball in general? I'm just coming off a 3yr hiatus and by the looks of this board, it seems DEAD. This board (when i
stopped playing) was on fire. Now it doesnt seem like anyone posts. I see a few familiar names Gary,Pirate51 etc. Where is everyone?

hey I went to a get together for a board in the northeast last weekend and bought a pair of turf's from one of their reps and they are the best turfs I
have put on. I got boombah's last year in mids, (come up too high) and although they held up ok the boombah tag on the back heal fell off. not a big deal
but but I guess u get what u pay for....
So I decided to grab a pair from this rep at the get together and first impression was awesome. the look is sweet, the comfort was great ( got a wide foot 12) real light and although they were not on too long i feel confident that the durability will hold up. nice mesh for stretching, but if you are in the neighborhood get a 1/2 size smaller. I got 11.5 and they are perfect which is the first time I have put on 11 1/2 in 10 years. fit great, nice little NEW thing to have on the field. the pants and also awesome... this is just for anyone thinking about getting some new gear...I highly reccomend them |

There was a time when this was the best softball board you could find. Sadly, it slowly died for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons is that there are
guys like me that used to be on here all the time but are not now simply because we (semi) retired from playing or just aren't into like we used to be.
